Featuring Wills, Trusts & Estate Planning
I was talking to a good friend of mine, Sanford Livingston, and he said something that took my breath away.
“We want people to understand life insurance as life-affirming, not death expectance.”
Mind-blowing. 🤯
But it makes so much sense!
Many people don’t realize it, but you can use life insurance to create generational wealth and break generational curses. But you have to use it the right way.
How can Life Insurance Create Generational Wealth?
We all know that you need a will, especially if you own property and investments. But, a will is basically a list of your wishes – there’s no guarantee that your wishes will be followed. Your estate still goes to probate! Which is a huge waste of money and time for your loved ones.
However, a trust can make sure that your wishes are followed. You can leave your house and investments in it, and give instructions on who gets what and how much. It prevents probate as well as family disagreements.
And….you can use your life insurance to fund a trust!
That trust can then fund your grandchild’s education. It can help them buy their first house. It can help them start a business etc.
It can also help future generations make and keep their wealth.
Another thing you need to look into…life insurance for your kids and grandkids!
Don’t freak out – getting life insurance when you’re young and healthy is so much more economical, you get so much more for your money. So getting life insurance for them young will help them immensely as they get older.
They may be able to use the living benefits portion of that life insurance policy if they’re diagnosed with a critical, chronic or terminal illness. You can even borrow against the policy to pay for college!
That level of peace of mind is amazing.
So…how do you get this set up?
On September 21st, I’m holding a Client Appreciation Event. I’ll be inviting all my current clients and potential clients to it, and I’ll be talking about a new product that can help with estate planning. It’s called Legacy Safeguard, and it’s awesome.
I would LOVE to see you there! Contact me for more information.
